Eyeglass Lenses

Our office offers an array of eyeglasses lenses to meet the individual vision requirements of each patient.

For our patients who require multifocal correction, we carry Varilux and Truclear progressive addition lenses as well as traditional bifocal and trifocal designs.

We offer traditional single vision lenses as well as digitally surfaced single vision lenses. Digitally surfaced lenses provide the best quality vision.

Since our world is digital and handheld, we sometimes suffer eye fatigue. We offer Essilor EyeZen+ lenses to help relieve digital eye strain.

Most of our lenses have a glare-reducing feature that provides clearer and more comfortable vision. We use Crizal and Viso products.

We now offer Essential Blue Series lenses which help protect your eyes from harmful blue light.

We also offer a light-adaptive option via Transitions lenses. With a wide variety of function and colors, this technology is amazing. Transitions lenses remember to protect your eyes from the sun even when you don’t.

Frames

We stock a variety of frame styles for men, women, teens, and children. They are available in a range of styles from fashion-forward designer frames to more traditional styles. Materials include strong and lightweight plastic and metal alloys such as titanium.

Adult frame lines include American Optics, Costa Optical, Lamb, Oakley, RayBan, State, Ted Baker, and Vera Bradley.

Children’s frame lines include DilliDalli, LifeItalia, Oakley, and Vera Bradley.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses aren’t just about style – they’re essential in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. We offer both prescription and non-prescription sunglass options.

Our sunglass frame lines include Costa Del Mar, Oakley, and Ray-Ban.

Eyewear Care Tips

Caring for Your Eye Wear

Prolong the life of your glasses by cleaning with mild soap and warm water occasionally. Use a dry lens cleaning cloth daily to remove smudges and lens cleaning spray to remove oils. Do not use shirts, towels, or tissues to clean lenses as this may create scratches.

Use Two Hands

When putting on or removing frames, use two hands. This will prevent damage to the frame.

When not on your face, put them in the case!

Cases are provided with all frame purchases. To protect to your glasses, it is recommended to store them in a case. If your frames need repair or adjustments, call our office at 205-978-4088 to schedule an appointment with our optician.

Eyeware Warranty Information

Our Frame Warranty

Frames have a one time replacement within 12 months for manufacturer defects including broken temples, hinges, and nose pads. In order to take advantage of this warranty, all pieces of the frame must be returned to the office and free of glue residue and bite marks.

Our Lens Warranty

Lenses with an anti-glare coating have a 1 year warranty. If the lenses become scratched, we can order a replacement pair. Some restrictions apply.

Exclusions

Warranties do not cover eye wear that has been lost or stolen or frames with teeth marks of any kind.
